I really didn't think Kin was the kind of person who would create a piece of art. He was more into designing things like bathroom stalls and pipes. However when he first joined one of the group exhibits here at prose, i was surprised to find out that he was indeed serious about his art. Gradually it developed into a series in which he uses rust as the medium to create forms and contrast. By laying out metal pieces which he lovingly waters everyday, he creates industrial images of rust on his stark white background. A must see for everyone.

We all have our "E "moments, that eureka feeling upon discovering that everything isn't what it seems. That there is deeper purpose in life other than just being. That we are here for a purpose, and we live so that it may be fulfilled. Out of the darkness features paintings that I feel reflect my distorted view of reality. Ever since my paradigm shift I was overwhelmed by my truth, because of that I usually try to escape by numbing my senses. But running away doesn't work. Sooner or later reality catches up, and your back to where you began. By creating these paintings, I somehow try to reinforce my relationship with reality. Creating a portal in which others can view that relationship. Hopefully finding their individual truths while viewing the images and pondering over their titles.
